School of Nursing
From the Dean
The School of Nursing at Roberts Wesleyan University provides comprehensive nursing education from pre-licensure to graduate study.
If you seek a baccalaureate degree in nursing to qualify for the NCLEX exam, we offer a traditional Bachelor of Science (BS) in Nursing.
If you are already a Registered Nurse (RN) needing to complete your baccalaureate degree, we welcome you to our RN to BS Degree Completion Program, an asynchronous online program designed for working nurses with clinical immersions to further develop your competency skill set.
Or, you may be an RN looking at our advanced online Master of Science (MS) programs designed for working professionals. We offer three MS degrees: 1) Nursing Leadership and Administration, 2) Nursing Education, and 3) Primary Care Family Nurse Practitioner; each with post-master's certificates in these specialized areas.
Last, if you are an RN with a non-nursing baccalaureate degree - our RN-MS in Nursing Leadership and Administration or Nursing Education may be for you.
Our curriculum emphasizes that the graduate-prepared nurse's role advances the profession of nursing through education, practice, and scholarship within a supportive Christian academic environment. Learners will develop competencies consistent with their respective specialties. Faculty and staff are committed to developing thoughtful, spiritually mature, service-oriented nurses who will help transform society.
Keep in mind, in addition to the policies, procedures, and guidelines of Roberts Wesleyan University, all nursing students follow the policies, procedures, and guidelines of their respective School of Nursing handbook including clinical compliance requirements and technical standards.
