The graduate programs in Psychology at Roberts Wesleyan University are designed to prepare students for effective professional practice in both clinical and school settings. The programs aim to prepare students for exemplary service and leadership.
Graduate Programs
The Department of Psychology offers a Master of Science degree in School Psychology. The National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) has granted "Full Accreditation" to the graduate program in school psychology.
The Department also offers a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree in Clinical/School Psychology. The curriculum blends the professional areas of clinical and school psychology, meets educational requirements for licensure as a psychologist in New York State, and includes the provision for meeting the requirements for New York State Certification in School Psychology. The National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) has granted "Full Accreditation" to the PsyD program. The American Psychological Association has also granted "Full Accreditation" status for the PsyD program.
