Alumni Launches Sports Scholarship Agency Connecting Baltic Football Talent with US Colleges
Becca Fields-Poniškaitis ‘16 (Business Marketing and Graphic Design) and her husband, Tautvydas Poniškaitis, are leveraging their international and athletic experience to help the next generation of Baltic athletes access the same life-changing opportunities they once received.
They have launched BaltixSport, a new sports scholarship agency that connects promising footballers (soccer players) from Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia with United States college programs across the NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA.
Becca, a Roberts graduate, and her husband, Tautvydas, a SUNY Brockport graduate.
Becca Fields-Poniškaitis, a Roberts Wesleyan graduate with a background in branding and marketing for startups, now applies her expertise to ensure BaltixSport reaches the right coaches and creates long-term opportunities for student-athletes. She also earned a Master’s Degree in Marketing Management from the University of Sunderland in 2024.
BaltixSport was born from a shared mission: to open doors for overlooked talent in the Baltic region and support US coaches seeking high-calibre international recruits. Through detailed scouting reports, video analysis, and athlete support services, the agency offers a streamlined process for coaches to evaluate and recruit academically and athletically qualified players.
The agency provides athlete evaluation, scholarship negotiation assistance, and academic compliance guidance, making it a one-stop resource for both coaches and players, and is currently onboarding new players and accepting inquiries from collegiate programs.
