Networking and Knowledge: Roberts Wesleyan's "Mentors & Mocktails" Connects Students with Alumni Professionals
Career insights flowed at Roberts Wesleyan University's annual networking event. Hosted by the Alumni Engagement team, the "Mentors & Mocktails” event was held on March 6 in the Golisano Community Engagement Center and fostered meaningful conversations between alumni and students.

Students from various majors brought thoughtful questions to ask alumni during a 45-minute panel discussion. Following the panel, attendees enjoyed a structured networking session with alumni working across industries. The event was all to help students learn how to make connections before they enter the "real world" after graduation.

The panelists were Taylor Rawson '18 (Communications), Growth Marketing Manager at RxVantage; Frank LaNasa M '13 (Healthcare Administration), Vice President of Business Development at Toney Healthcare; and Ryann Guglielmo M '20 (Strategic Marketing), Owner of Red Bird Market and Ryann PR LLC.

The event also featured specialty mocktails crafted by AltBar, a Rochester business owned by alumni, Meg Hartman, ‘07, M'15 (Communication, Strategic Marketing), and her husband Bob. The mocktails added a unique touch to the professional gathering.
Thank you to all the alumni who volunteered their time and to the students who participated in this valuable career development opportunity!
