Can you share about your journey to pursue a Master's in Nursing Leadership and Administration, and how this program fits into your career path?

As I continue on my journey to become a more well-rounded leader in my organization, this path made the most sense to me.

The professors have supported me by expanding my vision and knowledge base in leadership, budgeting, strategic planning, and human resources. This has made me feel more confident in my daily work.

What academic or professional accomplishments are you most proud of?

I am proud of my accomplishments both academically and professionally. The academic projects I worked on were altered and applied to my profession.

For example, I supported smoking cessation learning and activities to support staff and patients. I am also actively working on shifting office tasks so that staff focus on the top of their scope and provide more comprehensive care to patients.

How has Roberts helped you grow your skills to follow your calling?

Roberts has allowed me to continue my adult education through a supportive network and shown me areas where I could expand and grow professionally. It has been an enlightening experience.

I have learned to be more reflective and widen my perspectives through my academic work at Roberts. The faculty and staff have been supportive and helpful.

What would you say to a nurse considering Roberts?

I have recommended Roberts to others as the school is helpful and accommodating.  The university provides a well-rounded experience. In fact, I’ve encouraged my son to transfer to Roberts!
