Roberts Wesleyan University’s competitive eSports season starts on Feb. 2, integrating digital athletics into its traditional sports program. The program operates as a full member of the athletic department, with players donning official Redhawks jerseys when they participate in competitions.

"Being part of athletics helps players feel connected to the broader college community," said eSports Head Coach, Aaron Stiles. "We're Redhawks, representing our team like any other athlete."

The competition follows a structured format, with weekly online matches against other colleges in the best-of-three series. Teams accumulate points throughout the season, determining seeding for the final tournament and playoffs. Matches are played in the same area where the players sit across from each other. The teams go through the bracket and get seeded at the end of the season for tournament and playoffs.

The program welcomes visitors to its training facility in Anderson Hall, where practices will run multiple times weekly once the season begins. New recruits are encouraged to join after observing sessions.
