Donna McLaren

Profile

With experience in corporate marketing and brand strategy, Donna McLaren brings real-world insight and practical expertise into the classroom.
Donna is also a proud alumna of Roberts, having earned her M.S. in Business in 1999 while working at Xerox. In addition to teaching, she was previously the Associate Vice President for Institutional Communications, where she helped shape Roberts’ brand, voice, and strategic marketing efforts, including the successful transition from college to university.
Before entering higher education, Donna led global branding, advertising, and marketing communications at Kodak. At Xerox she specialized in product launches, B2B marketing, and training. Her industry experience helps students bridge theory and practice while gaining hands-on skills in strategic thinking, consumer behavior, and organizational leadership.
Donna holds a Master of Science in Business from Roberts Wesleyan University and a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from SUNY Cortland. A lifelong learner and mentor, she is passionate about helping students grow in competence, confidence, and character.
