Profile

Dr. Kathleen B. Stoklosa is a seasoned occupational therapist and educator with more than 37 years of clinical experience and over two decades in OT education. Currently teaching at Roberts Wesleyan University, she brings expertise in OT assessment and treatment for individuals with neurological and musculoskeletal conditions, along with leadership and entrepreneurship in the OT profession. Her teaching is deeply informed by her prior faculty roles at Nazareth University and Ithaca College and shaped by her enduring passion for curriculum design and faculty development.

Her research explores strategies to improve hand and upper extremity function in individuals post-stroke and with Parkinson’s disease, as well as the development of intraprofessional partnerships. She presents regularly at state and national conferences and continues to practice as a clinician at Thompson Health Rehabilitation Services. Previously, she served as Chief of Occupational Therapy at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Whether mentoring graduate students or contributing to publications like her upcoming textbook on OT in palliative rehab, Dr. Stoklosa is committed to developing compassionate, skilled leaders in health care. Outside of work, she finds joy in her family, her pets, and her Peloton rides.
