Profile
Jennifer Dorr has been a key part of the Roberts Wesleyan cross country and track and field programs since graduating from the university in 2006. She was named co-head coach of the Men’s and Women’s Cross Country teams alongside her husband, Andrew Dorr, in 2011, and later became the associate head Cross Country coach and distance Track & Field coach in 2018. A former collegiate runner with multiple NAIA and NCCAA All-American honors, Coach Dorr brings her competitive spirit and deep care for students to every practice. She often trains alongside her athletes, building strong relationships and a team culture based on trust, hard work, and shared commitment.
In addition to her coaching, Jennifer holds professional certifications in Childhood and Special Education and Literacy (Birth–Grade 5). She teaches courses such as Applied Technologies and Literacy in Childhood Classrooms, blending her passion for athletics and academics. She was twice named NCCAA DI Women’s Cross Country Coach of the Year and helped lead Roberts’ Women's Cross Country team to two national titles. Jennifer lives in Churchville with her husband and three sons—Levi, Asher, and Ezra—who are often seen cheering on the team and embodying the spirit of community that defines her approach to coaching and teaching.
