Profile

Jaimee Lindvay, M.F.A. is a dedicated educator and multidisciplinary artist with a strong background in photography, visual arts, and educational technology. She currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Art at Roberts Wesleyan University, where she integrates hands-on creative practice with emerging tools to prepare students for dynamic careers in the arts.

With over a decade of experience in higher education, including online instruction at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, Jaimee brings both depth and versatility to the classroom. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes adaptability, innovation, and student-centered learning—core values shaped by her ongoing work in community-based tech and maker spaces.

Outside academia, Jaimee is the co-founder and president of AdaSpace, a women-led hacker/maker space in Rochester, NY. She is also an active volunteer with the Girl Scouts of Western New York, supporting leadership development and logistics for youth programs.

Jaimee holds a Master of Fine Arts in Visual Studies from SUNY Brockport and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Applied Media Arts from PennWest Edinboro. Her work is driven by a belief that education is a catalyst for creativity, equity, and transformation.
