Like many others, my career (I really should write "careers") has been a curvy road that has taken me all over the world as a member of the military, a student and teacher, a mentee and a mentor, and a follower and a leader. My goal is to always be faithful and practice selfless service.

Jack West brings contagious energy and a heart for service to his role as an adjunct instructor at Roberts Wesleyan University. A former U.S. Army recruiter and veteran educator, Jack has spent decades mentoring, teaching, and leading with compassion, character, and purpose.
He is passionate about helping future educators develop both skill and soul in their teaching practice. Jack’s classroom blends academic rigor with real-life insight, and he works to create spaces where students feel seen, challenged, and inspired to follow their calling.
His path to teaching has taken him around the world and back, through military service, secondary education, enrollment leadership, and graduate studies. Jack holds a Master of Education in Special Education from Roberts Wesleyan University. His professional experience also includes extensive work with school district partnerships and financial access to education.
