Profile

Dr. Elenice Lima is deeply passionate about the nursing profession, student education, and nursing research. With over 20 years of teaching experience, she has served in both undergraduate and graduate nursing programs at universities in Brazil and the United States. Her teaching spans a wide range of courses, reflecting her broad expertise and commitment to shaping the next generation of nurses.

Dr. Lima has advised numerous graduate theses and mentored undergraduate students in their research. She has served on multiple thesis defense and selection committees, contributing her expertise to academic standards and student success. An active scholar, she reviews for professional nursing journals and has published extensively in respected publications such as Cancer Nursing, Journal of Nursing Scholarship, and Lymphology.

She received the Barbara S. Muller Memorial Award for Teaching Excellence in 2025 as recognition for her dedication and effective teaching.
