Summer Literacy Program

This was such a great program. [Student] has taken off in her reading. I often find her nose in a book where before it was almost a chore to get her to read with us. Thank you!

Caregiver of Summer Literacy Program Student

If your student needs extra support with reading or writing, the Summer Literacy Program can help.

It is designed for students entering grades 2–8 (priority is given to students in grades 5–6).

Students will complete the program with stronger skills and with more confidence as readers and writers.

Program Details

  • Dates: July 20 – July 31, 2026
  • Times: Between 9 am – 12 pm (Monday-Friday)
  • Location: Online/Remote

  • Registration Fee: $20 (due within one week of enrollment confirmation)

[Student] looked forward to every session with [Teacher]. She made it fun but also challenged him each week. He was always engaged. In fact, he was sad when the program ended. I am very thankful for this opportunity.

What Your Student Will Experience

  • Daily 10–15 minute mini-lesson videos with independent practice recommendations
  • Daily one-on-one literacy instruction (1 hour via Zoom)
  • Daily small group instruction (about 30 minutes, grouped by grade band)
  • Progress monitoring and final reports shared with you (and school personnel if desired)

This year, students will receive individual and small-group literacy instruction.
